Climate change is an undeniable reality, and its effects are felt worldwide, with a disproportionate impact on the most vulnerable countries. It is with this perspective that we are pleased to announce our participation in the roundtable discussion on the theme of climate change and development cooperation, organized by the FGC in partnership with the City of Geneva and HEPIA, on May 28th.

Food insecurity is significant among the populations in the Northeast of Uganda, in the Karamoja region. This is due to recurrent droughts that have led to decreased agricultural productivity. Additionally, restrictions related to the Covid-19 crisis have exacerbated food insecurity. Faced with numerous challenges in the region, FH supports farmers in improving environmentally friendly agricultural and livestock production through agro-ecological practices.

To mark International Women's Day, FH Switzerland would like to highlight gender-related challenges through the story of Thérèse, a mother of two living in Burundi. Involved in coffee cooperatives and the fight against domestic violence, Thérèse embodies change and hope in a society where the road to equality is fraught with obstacles.
